ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini

Last updated: September 2026

What it does

Vyrd can be added as a connector in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. After that you can talk to your usual AI app about your business, and it can look things up in Vyrd or update it for you:

  • “What should I focus on this week?” It reads your open actions and what Vyrd has learned.
  • “Tell Vyrd we lost the Oslo deal because of price.” It saves that to your diary.
  • “Add an action for Friday: call the three trial users.” It appears on your Today.

The AI app does the thinking on your own subscription with that company, so it spends no Vyrd credits. It works with the same data you see in Vyrd, for the one workspace you choose when you connect.

What it can and can't do

  • Read: your business overview, your actions, your company memory (beliefs and how well they're supported) and the diary entries you shared with Vyrd. Private notes are never shared.
  • Write, when you ask: add a diary entry, add an action, mark an action done.
  • Never: send email, post anywhere, delete anything, change your plan or spend credits.

Connect

You need an active Vyrd plan. The connector URL is:

https://vyrd.ai/api/mcp

  1. Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Give it the name Vyrd, paste the URL, and click Add. Then click Connect.
  2. ChatGPT: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then Create app. Paste the URL, choose OAuth for authentication, and create it.
  3. Gemini (personal account): open gemini.google.com/apps and add a custom app link with the URL.

Each app then sends you to Vyrd. Sign in, choose the workspace, check what it may do, and click Allow. Menu names in these apps change now and then; look for “connectors”, “apps” or “custom MCP”.

Your data

What the AI app reads from Vyrd is sent to the company behind that app (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) and handled under your agreement with them. Vyrd stores only which app you connected, to which workspace, and when it was last used. Access tokens are stored as one-way hashes. See the privacy policy.

Disconnect

In Vyrd, open Connectors → ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini and click Disconnect next to the app. It stops working right away. You can also remove the connector inside the AI app.

Troubleshooting

  • “Connecting AI apps needs an active plan.” Choose a plan in Vyrd, then start again from the AI app.
  • The app says the connection expired. Connect again from the app. If you disconnected it in Vyrd, that's expected.
  • It answers about the wrong business. Each connection is tied to one workspace. Disconnect it and connect again, choosing the other workspace.
