Integrations

Vercel

Last updated: September 2026

What it does

The Vercel integration shows two widgets on your Vyrd Today dashboard, next to your plan and your other numbers:

  • Site status: whether your latest production deployment is live, building, or failed, and when it happened.
  • Deployments: your last five deployments, with their state, time, and the first line of the commit message.

Vyrd only reads. It never creates, changes, redeploys, or deletes anything in your Vercel account, and it doesn't read environment variables, logs, or source code.

Connect

  1. In Vyrd, open Today and click Sources.
  2. Next to Vercel, click Connect Vercel.
  3. Vercel asks which account or team to install the integration on, and which projects it may access. Choose the team and project for your site.
  4. You return to Vyrd. Pick the project to watch. The Site status widget appears on your board.

To add the Deployments widget, click Edit on Today, then Add widget → Vercel.

Connect with a token instead

If you'd rather not install the integration, you can paste a Vercel access token under Sources → Vercel → Use a token. Vercel tokens can't be limited to read-only, so create one scoped to a single team with an expiry date (Vercel → Account Settings → Tokens). If your project belongs to a team, also paste the team ID (it starts with team_).

What we store

  • The access token, encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it's saved. It can only be read by our servers and is never sent to your browser.
  • The Vercel installation ID, the team ID (or your user ID on a personal account), and the project you picked (its ID and name).
  • A short-lived copy of the deployment details the widgets show. When Vercel tells us a deployment for your project started, finished, failed, was canceled, promoted, or rolled back, that copy is cleared so the next view reads fresh details. Otherwise it's refreshed at most every five minutes.

This data belongs to the workspace you connected it in, and is not sent to our AI provider. See the privacy policy for details.

Disconnect

  1. In Vyrd, open Today → Sources and click Disconnect next to Vercel. This deletes the stored token and all cached deployment data. If you remove Vyrd in Vercel instead, Vercel tells us and we disconnect it the same way.
  2. To remove the integration from Vercel as well, open your Vercel team → Settings → Integrations and remove Vyrd. If you connected with a token, delete the token under Account Settings → Tokens.

Plans

Every plan can connect as many sources as you like, so Vercel can sit alongside Stripe, Google Analytics and PostHog.

Troubleshooting

  • The widget says “Choose project”. The connection worked but no project is picked yet. Click it and choose one.
  • “Vercel refused access. Reconnect Vercel.” The integration was removed or the token expired. Open Sources and connect again.
  • No projects are listed. The token or installation belongs to a different account or team than the project. Reconnect and choose the right team, or add the team ID when using a token.
  • The numbers look a few minutes old. With the integration installed, deployment changes clear the cache as they happen. With a token, details can be up to five minutes old. Press ↻ on the widget to refresh.
